Simply one of the most sophisticated website I’ve seen today, more than merely a technically superb portfolio, Jonathan Yuen’s site is in a class of its own simply because of its artistic and natural feel for nature and how it [graphic design] connects us to our internal sense of beauty. If you can’t see the connection between photography and graphic design, this is the site to visit.

brian eno

He is British, and perhaps better known as an ambient music pioneer and as a founding member of Roxy Music from many years ago. Eno has pursued several artistic ventures parallel to his music career, including visual art installations, the most recent one being the 77 million paintings project, a virtually impermanent work that presents itself over a period of time, to be experienced upon chance viewing of the the random projections emanating from a computer, programmed to compose the work.
One of our favourite designers and multi-disciplinary companies, with a strong philosophy, and excellent research, but the best part yet is that BMD says they love collaboration. Bruce Mau collaborated with Rem Koolhaas to produce one of architecture’s best documented intelligence ever, SMLXL and also the beautifully drafted and designed ZONE books series.
jason brooks for hed kandi

We think the design work and brand of Hed Kandi as an institution is very good. Jason Brooks has an inimitable design, style and flair that is so unique you can identify the work from miles. Look up Hed Kandi posters and art here. Almost everyone would have seen a hed kandi poster at one time or another, but most famously, they appear on the covers of lounge music brands as ministry of sound.
